While going over the causeway to Sanibel you go across a couple of islands with pull offs and beach access. On any of these can be productive spots for various waders, pelican and shorebirds. Presently the Causeway / bridge is being replaced and stopping is not permitted in some areas and the available parking has also been reduced.
