Fort Desoto -Gulf Side Pier

This pier located by the historic Fort and is accessed from its’ parking lot

For Desoto has two fishing piers. Either can be productive for birds in flight, and close-ups. This will all depend on the how the fishermen are doing. I have found this area productive many times when North Beach is slow or dead. Here I would also look for birds forging along the shoreline to both sides of this pier.
