Fort Desoto - Boat Ramp

The boat ramp area in Fort Desoto can be a productive area to shoot. Typically you will find some waders and gulls begging for handouts. They can be extremely easy to approach. There is a mud flat area to the left of the docks that some birds will forge in when the tide is low or on the way out. Fairly tame Raccoons like to hang out in the brush by the wash down area.

During late spring and summer this can also be a good spot to find Magnificent Frigatebirds. They will soar around looking for an opportunity to steal something from another bird.
